The quick picture poster for Tumblr
Do one thing and do it well
What does this app do? Simply: it takes a picture and uploads it to your Tumblr account.
Have you ever missed a shot because you were fumbling around with your iPhone trying to navigate to the picture taker in any other app? Have you ever stood in the middle of a sidewalk composing an email to send your picture to Tumblr?
Never again!
Q: Does this app work with the iPod touch and the iPad?
A: This version works just fine with the iPod touch. You don't have a camera to take pictures, but you can choose images from your library and everything else works just the same!
Q: Can I save pictures I take to my iPhone's library?
A: Yes! Check your settings, there's an option to have the pictures you take saved to your library. They'll be saved when you post the picture to Tumblr, so if you don't like how the image turned out and discard it, it will not be saved.
Q: How do I post full-resolution images to Tumblr?
A: You don't, at least not with this app. Quickr is designed to run as fast as possible. Larger pictures take longer to process, longer to post, and nobody will notice that your posts are a higher resolution anyway. If you do want to keep high-resolution versions of your images, select the option to save images to your library. The saved images are much higher resolution than those posted to Tumblr.
Q: Man, Quickr is fast, but I wish it were just a little bit faster. Is there anything I can do?
A: Yes, try turning off the option to save the image to your library. Saving those library images takes just a little bit of time and Quickr will move faster if you choose not to save your pictures.
Q: Can I post images to a Tumblr account that isn't my main account?
A: Not in this version. I've got that functionality in the works, watch for it on a future release.
